Give this website a try:Maybe something here that might help, i.e., engine cooling, valves, etc. Keep us posted.

My thoughts were that it could be the fuel filter. I had Chevrolet 1/2 ton van that had the same issue and it ended up being the fuel filter. It’s worth a try. Good luck!

Yes, I am finding the same issues myself. I was waiting on someone else to bring it up just in case I was doing something wrong. I was getting a little frustrated myself.
Hello Steve!
I’m new here, too, so your are not the only newbie around. Lol! I have always had some tools and test equipment, but I am wise enough to know my limitations when it comes to automotive work. I watched Eric’s videos for quite a while before coming to this website. Glad I found it! He really seems like the kind of dude I could hang with, even though I am many years older than he. I hope I can help you in the future. Stay dirty…DanHello Steve!

I just had to buy two batteries; one for our 2000 Ford Explorer Sport, and another for my 2002 Ford E-150 Econoline van. Both showed the same symptoms are you are describing. They seem to operate all the electrical devices, but not enough power to crank the engine. Hey, take a few extra dollars, the price of batteries has shot up quite a bit!
