If the cel comes on under heavy load and disappears when throttle is closed or relaxed then I’d look at spark. If miss is at idle but smooths out when throttle is opened then I’d look at vacuum leak. With a vacuum leak the light tends to stay on. Does the cel flash then disapear? If so, it is fuel related and the cat can’t keep up due to lack of spark and raw fuel running through the exhaust into the cat.

The o2 code is most likely a result of the misfire itself. When did this code appear? Was it when the engine was under heavy load on Highway? Does it miss at idle then smooth out when throttle is opened?

Just to pick some brains here….could lack of spark cause a dumping of fuel (given there’s no issues with the fuel delivery system)? Given its a diesel, could this be an internal issue such as blow-by, burnt valve etc? I’m just curious of the compression in this scenario.

Fuel pressure regulator? There’s also a ground strap next to the fuel filler hose. Check fuel pressure after the regulator with manufacturers specs.

Replace struts in pairs. Please be safe and keep ur face back behind ur body when compressing and decompressing.

Lol! I love excuses to “need” more tools! I wish you the best.

After verifying grounds check for vacuum leak, spark and fuel. What is the code stored? Any auto parts store should be able to tell you. A maf sensor is a symptom, not necessarily the cause of the code. It’s like a human body…A cough is a symptom, the cause is bronchitis. Cough syrup will help the cough bit won’t take care of the bronchitis. Check air filter, throttle body, put a vacuum gauge on it at note the needle at idle and when you slap the throttle open. It may be choking itself out due to an exhaust restriction.
