      Replaced the speed sensor. I went with the part for the B16 transmission and the speedometer works fine now. Also, the vtec has begun to function properly again. So if anyone out there is running a mix matched motor and transmission combination then use the speed sensor that goes with the transmission, not the motor. At least that is is how it is if you are talking about B series Honda. Thanks for the help guys, Car runs like a champ now.

              The two parts look the same. I’m fairly sure that the ITR sensor will work but I just wanted to make sure before I buy one. Unfortunately, the two parts numbers don’t match up but, some websites have suggested that the two are in fact interchangeable. There is only one way to find out for sure. Luckily I work in the body shop at a Honda dealership so I get a discount on parts. Thanks guys.
