    Hello Eric,
I’ve been working on bicycles since the age of 16 and lately I’m getting more and more into motorcycles and cars.I enjoy your website and youtube account very much and it has learned me alot. I hope to become more skilled at engine repairs.
In the last few years I have gotten quite good at repairing old bicycles. It has gotten up to the point that I can simply hear a problem and diagnose it without even looking at the bike. This had become a problem for me. I can’t shut my technical brain off. So wherever I go, whenever, I hear faulty brakes, low tire pressure, lack of lubricant on all bicycles and it is very much annoying. It has happened many times that I stop people in front of my house and tell them they have a serious problem on their bicycle. No one cares offcourse. I secretly pump up the tires of my roommates bicycle and I suggest to do servicing regularly for almost no money. I have given up the hope that people take care of their vehicules and I simply suggest to do it for them for a very good price. Sometimes I do it secretly just to get my mind of it.
I can’t stand to see -or hear- vehicules suffer. Now that I’m into motorcycles and cars I start to hear al sorts of problems with those vehicues as well. I know for a fact that my mom’s car has had an empty cooling fluid container for over a year. It hasn’t overheated yet but the idea that she drives around with that lovely ’98 Toyota, slowely killing it, destroys my mood.
So I was thinking, you must have had similar things happen to you?
    take care,
    AVC
