340 volts is way to high for a coil on start and it’s very possible for a coil to be showing good but also be bad I have seen it twice before on a Ford super duty coil

Since you foubd the problem I would check the transmission dip stick to make sure it’s at a good level and make sure the engine is hot when you check the transmission dip stick

To your question on not enough torque have you tried a breaker bar and a pipe like a floor jack handle to the bolt heads being rounded off they do make special sockets that can grip a rounded bolt I saw you said you don’t habe much room now heat would help but it will only help if you have something to grab the rounded head with you could try heat and some vise grips or channel locks

This is a very hard question to answer if you maintain the transmission it could last you your lifetime now everything on a vehicle will eventually need maintenance and new parts doesn’t mean the car is crap because people have had issues that just means that people make mistakes are you having any shifting problems right now hard shifts or delayed shifts with the vehicle transmission

Have you checked your carburetor gasket are you heading leaking air any wear near the exhaust headers or near your exhaust pipes try checking around your carburetor and near your head gaskets with an accelerint like carburetor cleaner if there a leak any were you will hear motor rev up while running back firing use my means there is to much pressure in the exhaust you might have a valve sticking

Throttle position sensor should be located on your throttle body housing right were air comes in from your air intake tube

Check to make sure the ac compressor clutch plate is in specs if it’s to tight when it’s engaging it could make the belt and other pullies jerk also check and see if a.c. compressor is making any weird noises while it’s on bearings in Pully could be bad as for the hesitation have you checked your throttle position sensor could cause a lot of your symptoms

As long as it’s staying connected you should be okay if they don’t same the connector pigtale by them selves you could always check Napa auto parts they might be able to get you another pigtale connector but other then that if it’s holding it should be fine if your not ha ing any firing issues

Are you seeing any foaming in the antifreeze or in your oil also when you did the leak down test did the hissing air only come from the radiator cap hole or did you listen. For air from exhaust and oil filler cap and check all of these places for air leaking

Leaving it in there is a very bad idea I cold block the fuel from getting to that fuel injector try your best to fish it out then replace that grommet with a new one on the fuel injector and put fuel injector back on fuel rail
