Yes there is a bulb. It is a pretty straight forward repair but it can be a pain because you leave the shift cover on the slider. It is either 4 screws or 4 clips that hold the shift cover piece on and then there are 2 wires (red if i remember correct) that you need to disconnect. When you disconnect the connector, the bulb comes with it. Doesn’t take more than a few minuets and the bulbs are cheap.

As for only getting 5.3 volts to the fuel pump, are you positive you are testing the correct wire, a 5 volt reference should be sent to the sending unit so it seems very coincidental that thats what you are reading, the fuel pumps normally run off 12 volts. Those ccrm relays are destine to fail, they are like 5 relays stuck together. You can test each relay by applying 12 volts across them and checking for continuity across the points. I have heard of people rewiring it so they were all individual automotive relays to save money, doesn’t sound like it would be to hard to do. Please keep us posted on what you come up with and sorry if I didnt explain that well, I will clarify if needed.

My best guess would be that the sending unit is seized or the float is saturated with fuel.

Squealer should go on the inside because thats where the cailiper piston is. but it really does not matter that much either way.

That code does not always mean transmission replacement. If I were you, I would take it to a transmission shop and have them diagnose it with their computer. It may very well be a shift solenoid, those are easy to replace and can even be repaired depending on what broke and how much of a life you have. Are there any other DTC’s present? If so, find and fix those issues first, the p0730 may fix itself as a result. The 2 things that initially pop into my head are shift solenoid or clutch pressure solenoid. Tranny shop should be able to tell you for sure.

You can replace those ball joints, they press out just like any other ball joint. It is a pretty straight forward procedure and I think Eric may even have a walkthrough.

It should only go one way, the smooth face should go against the pressure plate (smooth side against engine) when mounted to clutch fork.
