greetings. i ordered a vacum gauge and is very good combo with the vacum tester.i fd vacum from the engine side, got my hands dirty going under the floor mats and driver door inside. i found a bad valve and a leaky 2 way rubber connector on the unlock side.
that part is ok. some of the heater switches are not working. the ac system is a vacum assist type. bad thing is that the ac is mostly in the dash on the right side.still need some documentation before proceeding.

i did look at the vw video on vacum.
