OK, different question there are cars that use regular gas (87)
and the premium cars use (91+)

Finally I found this in the owners manual:

One of the most convenient and
        important features of the multiinformation
        display on your vehicle
        is the maintenance minder.

        Based on engine operating
        conditions and accumulated engine
        revolutions, the onboard computer in
        your vehicle calculates the remaining
        engine oil life.

Therefore after 3500 miles I changed the oil the computer calculated 60% and the oil was black and dirty

I had a similar situation before, I did replace the thermostat and that was the problem
If u go to a local auto parts sore u might get a lower temp thermostat, u have to get it from the dealer for your car (I did and fixed the problem)
Take out the thermostat, put it in a pot of water and start heating it on the stove and check the temp with a cooking thermometer.

          Hope u find the problem

ok, same thing happened to me
for old cars, they dont make new brake caliper, they refurbish the ones people take back as core
so you bought 2 brand new looking old used calipers just like i did
Try to buy a complete assembly the bracket and the caliper together, I had better luck with the combo

Very simple here is what you do
the next size up is the M15 thread
and now you ask what is the pitch and the answer is this
if you buy a M15x1 bolt than you drill a 14mm hole =0.551 drill
if you buy a M15x1.5 bolt than you drill a 13.5mm hole = 0.531 drill
if you buy a M 15x whatever than you drill a 15 minus the whatever hole, and tap it!!!!!!!

Let us know how it went

                        Sbi !

I have the exact same problem on my Honda !
I changed the caliper (new), silicone the pins, flush the fluid, even changed the brake hose (new) and my car still doing what you described only on one rear wheel

Bottom line I took out the metal spring from the caliper and where the pads sit, now the pads are making noise going down the road but least I know they are loose (only on the problem wheel)

It will work for 3-4 weeks and they will lock up again, and I don`t know why !

Good luck and keep us posted if you find the cause

Good god! I pay 15-20 cents more a LITER for premium. I try to go to Costco for gas, as I have no choice but to run premium in my car and the price is usually barely more than everyone else pays for regular. I’m regularly close to both Costco gas bars in town, but the surrounding areas are just too horrible to go through. There is a chain that gives you a decent rebate every year, but their gas has just proved to not be good enough for whatever reason. Their premium hates turbo charged cars. So there’s a gas station that sells 93 octane, that’s what I try to use.[/quote]

                          DaFirnz !

                          15-20 cents more / LITER ?????????????
                          15 Cents / Liter = 0.15*3.785= 0.56 cents / gallon more
                          20 Cents/ Liter =0.20*3.785= 0.75 cents / gallon
Same as my +0.65 c / gallon more at any gas station

All right here is the update
I did get the new brake hose installed, the caliper was new a yr ago it is working perfect the seal looks new the piston move easy, the pins lubed with 3m silicone paste and move easy and for some reason the brake was still grabbing after I let off the brake pedal
I was thinking what is the reason for the pads to loosen after I take my foot off the pedal and how can I make it move
I put a washer under only one bolt of the of the bracket, making the assembly a tiny bit twisted to the brake disc, and it works!!!!
It loosens the pads after I let off the brake, BUT will see maybe 5 or 6 mo later the pads might wear parallel again and I might have the same problem
I will be back here let you all know what happened

I think at the dealership they bent your drive shaft trying to get out the bolt you were talking about and now they want YOU to pay for it
