I had the same problem with a 92 grand prix. It ended up being a crank shaft sensor.
Are you sure its rust. I have seen in alot of GM cars that use the orange Dexcool they leave a residue that looks alot like rust.

They are actually right if the over all diameter of the tire is different the the original it can throw of the transmission also it throws off your speedo. I have never heard of not being able to reset the computer to compensate for the new shift points.

It sounds like a wheel bearing that would cause both the wobble and the noise eric has videos on how to change some but you will want to look up how on your specific car cause some require different tools some have sealed bearings some don’t

I had a 92 bonnieville with a series I in it that went to 300,000 miles before I had to scrap it cause I got a new car and no one wanted it. That is some of the reason why I bought this car and yes it does have the aluminum upper intake.

I would like to see this to because I have a 2008 Grand Prix with the 3800 series III engine in it and this has me worried that there is something about the gasket failure I do not know about I heard the can go bad but the 3400 engine is alot more common with it. I would like to see any video’s on this engine.

I do know in indiana you have to have the car inspected if you buy it out of state. As for the insurance get a quote then after I get the car call the insurance company and have them insure it.

I would have to say check your steal brake lines for bad rusted spots the extra salt on the road makes them rust so change the bad ones out now before the blow out on you when you need them most.
