Okay something happened! I just went out to my car and started it too see if the light was still on! it was so I decided to do a few things to see if it would help. I turned on everything electrical in the car and let it run for a while. I then realized I forgot to turn on my brights to use full power. I turned the brights on and the battery light started flickering! then the light goes out! I turn off the brights then the light comes back on! I left the brights on for 2 minutes (timed it) turned them off and the light stayed off?! it has been off now for 5 minutes can anyone please shed some light on what just happened? I got a new alternator I have sitting on my floor 161$ I would love to save the money and take it back but if you recommended I change it, I’ll pull it apart and slap it on.

I’m guessing it slipped threw the side of the gauge face, spun a web got hungry slipped back out of the side where it came in from.. may be in the car still or got out threw a hole somewhere I would BOMB the car with a spider repellent if he’s afraid of spiders.. then let the car air out for a couple hours then vacuum the seats and clean the interior really well.. You won’t find that spider unless it spins another web and it stays in the spot it spun the web.. spiders are good hiders and very reclusive. Good luck!
