i found the issue it was the air intake sensor. it was going out and caused the car to go into reset mode there for locking up the radio and causing the brakes to not have pressure . i found this info on a web sight for Pontiac grand am owners . i asked the guy why would it make it acted up more with the radio on and he told me. all has to do with accounted air and also told me this because of my ets . The IAT shares a 5V reference signal with the ECTS and the TPS. When there is a problem with the IAT it can mess up the reference and along with it the PCM throttle vs vehicle speed calculations. That in turn can cause the PCM to disable ETS and switch the trans to limp mode to “protect” it.
the hole part cost little over 3 buck plus shipping like a dollar . got the next day to five minutes to swap parts and ship back to recycle that part . since then no more problems . and has been a week or 2 .

[quote=”college man” post=97470]Two things you can try. Push the accelerator to the floor and
see if it starts. If it does start better. your flooding. could be
a leaky injector or fuel pressure reg. next pull the vac line off
the FPR while cranking to see if fuel comes out or you smell fuel.http://www.ericthecarguy.com/faq/solving-automotive-no-start-problems%5B/quote%5Di wounder if he could be experiencing a bad main fuel relay problem like the 1990 to 1993 accord did ?

you forgot to say what kinda of a car / truck you drive plus engine size trim .
other than that sounds like the put on a faulty part or did not properly seal something . i would take it back and have it fixed under any warranty you may have .
edit : a non properly bleed cooling system ( air in the system ) will cause over heating and certain cases i have had with my own car ( 1991 accord ). the air would actauly push out the coolant to the over flow . once over flow was full it would leak on the ground . it is also possible that you have a blown head gasket where as the compression would push the coolant out of the resivor as i have seen this many times repairing my own car’s and friend’s car’s . if you continue to drive like this you can do serous damage to you’re vehicles engine / blow it up or seize it .
sorry for bad spelling.

hate to tell you bud but it sounds like you need to do a drain on you’re fuel tank and line .then filler back up with 87 and do a full tune up. 90 % of our cars require that we run 87 especially hondas . any thing higher then 87 is for higher end cars like vipers or a turbo car.
