Okay as a test I have took the power wire for the dimmer and turned on my lights to see if we power up the radio and the radio powered up and made sound and everything so I’m wondering if it could just be missing the part for the chime .

ok i found the issue . after reading on the dodge cummins forum i found a guy with all the same issues . it turns out that if the crank sensor is bad it will not charge the battery’s the a/c will not work the rpm will not work the over drive ether . thank you bonnieman i found it through youre link.
Well i went through the links yesterday and saterday well working on the truck . i could not finding any thing that worked . then this morning it stoped chargering. I tryed three different alt’s none made a change . im really stumped on this one.
Thank you for youre help man . ill be working on the truck Saturday . ill post to let know if this works .
The reason i belive there caused by one thing is because all three things happened at the same time .

Here is something easy you can do . remove rad cap then start vehicle and let worm up to normal opp temp . then watch rad coolent. If you keep getting bubbles you a blown gasket or worped head / block . another thing is to look at the bottom of rad cap . if you see somthing that resembles mud thats a clear indication that exhaust is mixing into the coolant. On a weeks times scale how wuch cool do you replace ? One cup or more to top off rad ?
