before i called dodge headquarters i called a few local transmission shops & they agreed they have not seen a 545rfe go before 100,000 & that the transmission has had mutiple upgrades to the internals since 2006.So I called corporate headquarters yeasterday & they reviewed my claim for about 2-3 hrs & i explained that it hasn’t been worked on by anyone besides dodge & proved it. The transmission failed before its first scheduled maintenance at 120,000 & they called the dealership it was bought from the dealer i took it to for the scan & they are claiming the parking gear recal( parking gear went out within the first 1,000 miles she owned it) is not connected to the transmission failure @ 73,000.& they do not want to cover it, & i called them back today & told them that i was calling to see where we were & they said they would not cover it so i asked if dodge valued my families continued business with them (she has been buying dodges for the past 20 years).also my grandfather worked for dodge in Michigan for 30 + years in the steel mills manufacturing they’re frames & molds, from the early 1950’s till the late 1980’s. he dedicated his life to that company & i planned to buy another vehicle from them when i get back home. They could probably replace the transmission at they’re cost for under a thousand, After this i wont be buying another dodge or chrysler product.

It wont let me view the pics on that page.
The dodge dealership said if it had given another code because there is a additional 4 or 5 codes to the p0740-p0745 that would tell if it was a transmission sensor. They said if they would of gotten more codes they would think it would of been a sensor & not a torque converter.they said when they get the p0700 & the p0740 90% its the torque converter.Thats just what they are saying i called a shop i regularly do business with & they said its usually a torque converter as well.& the transmission shops i am calling are recommending replacing the transmission as well.best warranty so far has been a 12 month 12,000-15,000 mile warranty with upgraded parts. here is the readout from the scan.Attachments:It wont let me view the pics on that page.

Update,my friend was telling me to check on the passenger side to see if the heater core was bad and i found a green coolant drip right on the top of my floor mat coming from the bottom of the dash so the heater core is leaking.will that really cause the car to overheat though?

ok i tried burping it without the funnel with the radiator cap off like in your video…..lost a good amount of coolant it shot out like 3 feet. im worse off now than when i started!ha but heres the manual that i have been using.http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/cooling/399646-cooling-fan-description-diagrams.html

Ok the coolant system does not have air in it i have let it run with the heat on full fan off. and it has burped itself.I think i have a faulty coolant gauge sensor,i have a red dot heat gun and i when the guage is over in the 240 ish almost to 260(red) the primary is running and the secondary does not kick on unless i turn the ac on.i scanned the thermostat housing it was never getting over 195, the radiator and hoses were around 175-185 ish the coolant in the recovery tank is not boiling when the guage reads its getting that hot so.and plus i learned there is another sensor or gauge on the drivers side head that reads to the gauge.because i have replaced the fan switch on the passenger side.and one of the sensors on the front of the intake, that i thought read to the coolant gauge.

Attachments:yeah it was the alternator, and the battery haha that was a fun friday night getting towed back ha!now im back on to the fan overheat problem.

the only piece i know i am missing is the cowl seal to the top of the hood.could that really cause all this? and i let it get hot and i turned on the heat it went down from the 240ish mark down to in between 220 and 240 and then went back to were it was.and i the passenger fan would not turn on without the ac on.when the ac was on it stayed in the same temp around 240.
