It ended up being that the head gasket was out…it was leaking down to cyl 2 and out the side of the block…so #2 was slightly low and 3 had 0…thanks though

the car is front wheel drive, not the quatro, its naturally asperated not boosted….also i forgot to tell you all that the car started to over heat a little bit when i parked it the other day! and was reading like it had low coolent so i topped it off, and it didnt help any…! I seen on another post that low fuel pressure can cause overheating as well…but im not the expert here

Celica may have alot of miles, but that has nothing to do with how reliable it can be…if a car is taken good care of it will last forever! For example, my old integra was ran hard, but i kept all the fluids changed, and tune ups very often, and she ran for about 350k before the head gagsket went out between cyl 3 and cyl 2And head gaskets on the little 4s are noting to replace so she is runing good again with nothing new other then the gasket….It sounds to me like the neon is junk, and its more sentimental because you listed nothing great about it, and for the celica you can go on and on…you know which you should pick

let your car sit for a little but, and check your fuel pressure…if the car tries to start, you have fire, and if it runs good once it start its mechanicaly sound! I would check fuel pressure out first…thanks
You need 3 things for a motor to run
1.Fuel/air mixture
2.Compression
3.fire -
