i know its coming from the suspention on the front passenger side…on the lower end
I would just go ahead and do it. And get it out of the way. No telling when a valve will get bumped while fishing around to find tdc

yes take the cams out, and your valvs will be closed! and the pistons will have a 0% chance to touch them! then start by putting bottom end in time, and then replace the cams how you want them to sit! MAKE SURE TO TAKE YOUR TIME PUTTING CAMS BACK!! bc if they are off too much you have a chance to mes them up anyways.

if you cant figure it out, and you want to make sure to do it rite, just take valve cover(s) off, and take all the pressure off the valvs, by loosening the cam bolts…with them loose the valvs are going to be seated, and no chance of bending the valves…then turn crank to where it needs to be, and reinstall cams to where you want them set…and replace the belt and vwalah…more work, but less chance to destroy your top end…also make sure your plugs are out, to make the crank easier to turn over. Had to do the same thing on my integra, and it ended up working fine

With vacume leaks i usually use some starting fluid, and give a small stray to the area i think has the leak at, and if the rpm changes at all, its enough to effect how it runs…not the safest way! SO KEEP A FIRE EXTENGUISHER AROUND…

So far ive changed fuel pump, and have good pressure at the motor! Have brand new wires, new ngk plugs, new ciol packs All getting here tomorrow! So Hopeing that will solve all if not most of the issues! Other then fuel and spark, all you need is mechanical…and it turns over smooth etc, so i dont think thats the issue….fingers crossed
