UPDATE: read the obd1 using the voltmeter pin 1 and pin 12 method, it continously read coolant temp sensor, so I replaced it. Still reading the same code after the battery negative terminal had been unhooked. the car will barely idle on its own when first started up in the mornings. after its been started if you give it gas, as soon as the rpms drop it will die. there on out if you start it you have to feather the gas to keep it running, as soon as you let off it dies.
