Eric i know you are probably right, but I’m going to try re-bleeding it before i pull the heads. If I can avoid the expense of the gaskets I’d like to._x000D_

dreamer22355, the fan s a Derale 16″ and about 2500 cfm if I recall.Ugh! this android tablet keyboard gets confused sometimes.
Finished checking for air bubbles in the radiator – none.
I’ll definitely re-purge the air — did it, still had overheating, flushed, & refilled but went straight to checking for leaks. Will purge & see if I’m still getting the bubbles._x000D_

Assuming I am, how likely is it a compression check would tell meTried to a block tester but radiator is cross flow and fill neck is right where water is pouring back into the tank so it kept getting contaminated. Going to try again using some clear hose to get the tester away from the water flow if the hose will seal
Cap & radiator tested OK. Local parts stores don’t rent leak down testers. I improvised by taking the valve out of my compression checker hose. Ran out of time before I finished but got the left side done. With about 50lbs of air pressure I got no
