I feel much more at ease now. I can say that the drain plug was definitely not cross threaded whatsoever. I ran it down slowly, finger tight. I’ll leave it alone and check the dipstick on a regular basis to be safe. Then next year when I do another drain and refill, I’ll make sure to clean the sealing surface again. I was just a little annoyed because I am not new to automotive repair and never experienced an issue like this even before even though its minor.

I so wanted to attend this event. I said I wanted to attend this year’s event after seeing the 2014 event. I’ve made it a priority to mark it on my calendar for next year’s event!
