Figure what’s wrong with my vehicle. Here’s the link to what’s going on.

      https://vid.me/LK3j

This weird sound shows up. You can hear it in the first few seconds in the video. Then when I tried to shift into park it gets louder. I took it to a mechanic and he said it could be the brake pump. The vehicle I own is a 2008 Mazda Tribute 4 cylinder 2.3 liter engine. Not a hybrid. It currently has 127,000 miles on it.

This problem only happens at random moments. I never know when it will do it and not sure what triggers it. I thought it was the transmission but it’s not. I have had the brake master cylinder replaced about a year ago.

What do you guys think it is?

It sounds like your shift interlock solenoid is going nuts.
Is the shifter/console vibrating? When it happens either pump
the brakes or unplug the brake switch. see if the noise stops.
        If so shift interlock problem.

Thank you for the feedback college man.

But I’m not sure if that’s the problem.

I get a weird noise at when I go 10 mph and when I reach 45 mph. It’s kind of a squeak noise. I took it to the Mazda dealership for a quick question and I showed the video. The service manager thinks it’s a brake pump issue. When this noise shows up (you can hear the weird noise in the first few seconds on the video) and I hit the brakes the car is jerky.

When I pulled over the first time when I hear this noise the shifting is fine between reverse, drive and the rest. Only in park is when I have issues.

Almost forgot to mention after the noise goes away. The traction control symbol lights up in my gauge. I can’t turn it off until the engine is off. I do have a traction control button near my cigarette lighter. So I can turn it on off or on anytime. The traction control feature is always off when this weird issue happens with my vehicle.

With the traction control light on there should be something stored
code wise. A scan tool capable of reading abs/traction control would be needed to read any codes
