I recently got hired at a Toyota dealership, as a mechanic and I wanted to ask, how is it to work with Toyota vehicles. I’m asking this because I absolutely have no exp. with vehicles other than my school training, and we didn’t get to do much while I was in school. Anyway, if any of you guys have any stories/advice about your experience with Toyota vehicles, it’d be greatly appreciated, I’m actually a little nervous about starting this job, haha.

Oh, and I apologize if this topic is not in the right place.

Congrats on getting the job with Toyota…

Toyotas will spoil you with their simplicity…. Well, at least everything outside the engine compartment nowadays…

VVT-I has made things a little more complicated, as well as some of the hybrids… but you have access to all the data to do it right…

Good luck and hope you become an MDT!

        Cheers!
