      with winter coming on l want to buy a battery jump box.what size amp should i be looking.

        You want something with at least 800 amp. You want to match it to your cca. 600 amp
        may do it but may not start something with a dead battery.

          If you think your battery is flaky and will give trouble during the cold months, I’d get a new battery before investing in a booster unit.
