      Hi OnThe7thDayFord,

First off, love the username! LOL! With regards to your condition, an external oil pressure gauge might help to verify what you are currently seeing on your dash/display. The oil pressure sensor itself could be getting old and not provide as reliable readings back to the ECU. Keep us posted.

I think you either have a sending unit problem or related wiring problem as stated above.

+1 on hooking up an analog gauge to see what the pressure actually is. I honestly don’t know the specs off of the top of my head however normally you want to see about 20psi or above at idle and as you reve it should be up around 60psi, the importan

I thinking its like yall said -Bad wire or opsu is acting up….
Today I only seen it once!!! When I started the truck it was between O and R as i drove it got up to the R (A little past)…….I did notice when I got ON it once today THE MOMENT I BACK OFF it went right down to the O and Then as a started driving normal it went right back between R and M….
Im realy pushing thowred wiring or the sending unit bc it only does it when driving…..

Im not a crazzy driver (I DO DRIVE) I like to know my ride can get and go when I need it to….
Iv never blown a engine or anything like that…..IDK why I even posted this bc right now if something broke I woulden have the money to fix it….Id set it out back with a tarp over it until I got the money!!!
