why rear main seal leaking several time within 2 month

Hi,

My Honda accord 96 ex 5x manual transmission F20b2 SOHC engine manual seal leak again !!!

I have replace the rear main seal 2 times with in 2/3 month not understand the problem . In highway mile-edge is 10 km/Litter .
Some body please help .

In a car that’s over 20 years old, it’s possible that your crankshaft has become grooved in the area that the seal rides on. For some engines, there are sleeve kits available that are supposed to restore the crankshaft to something closer to its correct original diameter, allowing the seal to do its job.
