It appears as if it’s coming from the front wheels. When I brake the noises sound like chirping noises. The rotors are only a few months old and so is the brake pads, and not the cheap ones either. It just started this a few days ago. What could be the issue? When I replaced the rotors, I used the brake pads that was already used in the car which wasn’t that old. Was it necessary to get a new brake pads when replacing rotors? Like I said the brake pads wasn’t that old either which is why I used it with the new rotors. It wasn’t making noises then so why is it making noises now?

sometimes the old pads will get glazed after a while and when you replace the rotors the pads will be very smooth too the touch, and when you apply the breaks when they come in contact with the rotors they grip the rotor and can cause micro vibrations which cause squeaking….
my suggestion too you is too take the pads and with a light grit of sand paper rough the friction material up a little bit and take out any glazing there may be, see if that helps.
also if you got any grease or antisease on the pads friction material this can also cause squeaking.
how do I remove the grease? Do I go to the car wash to see if that helps? Do I let it dry out? I think it had rained the past few days. Does the squeaking disappear on its own after a while?

as Collage man posted i forgot too link you too the breaks thing.
and sometimes wet breaks can make the squeaking sound worse, if its a rainy or dewy day and everything is wet, sometimes breaks squeak, sometimes when cars are cold the breaks squeak, during the winter with my 2008 pontiac grand prix when i first start too drive it the breaks squeak at the first few stops, after i warm the breaks up the sqeaking is gone.

I drive a car with fixed calipers and these are known noise makers. The problem is so bad a company made a brake pad especially for my car. They are called Magic Pads because they magically make the noise go away.
I have them on my car and they never make a peep. Some other owners write into our forum complaining that they are running Magic Pads and their brakes are screaming at every application. So, same car, same brakes, same brake pads and this difference. How is this possible? The only thing I can think of is attention to detail when installing.
I had a trusted mechanic look at this problem and he’s telling me it’s the booster/power brake booster. Is this about right then? I mentioned that my pads were new and so are the rotors.
The chirping noises is still present despite washing off the wheel area. When braking it feels as if the brake pads were hitting the metals, as if it was thinning but it isn’t. Sometimes it brakes well but other times not. Is this a booster issue then?
It could be the booster. You’d have to listen for the noise in that area to confirm it however. Some methods you might try to do that can be found here.

At an average U.S. labor rate of $80-$100 an hour and if that price includes the part, then that is not too bad… It is a pretty simple job on most cars..

Well I bought the part online for $110. It’s remanufactured. Had I bought it in stores it cost twice as much. I called advanced auto and autozone and they sell it for about $230.
Someone I know will install it for $90. Good deal?
Given some shops charge anywhere from $80 to $90 per hour average in my area? The job isn’t bad or hard, but it does take a bit of time. Maybe 45minutes to an hour. (more if things are rusted, harder to reach, etc…) So in the grand scheme of things 90 bucks isn’t that bad. Just ask for the old parts back, as I’m fairly sure the booster probably has a core charge attached to it. (If not? Then you gots a free doorstop!)

Ok so the problem was the brake booster. I got it replaced for $100 for the labor (mechanic originally estimated a $90 pay but decided it was a harder job than thought). I bought my parts online. I hope nothing was damaged when I had been driving the car for about over a month when I first noticed the noises. So far it brakes well.
