      Dear Mr. Eric,

I have Ford Focus 2007 station wagon…. issue is…when i slow down my car to a speed to park my vehicle and turned steering left or right (u can consider 90 degree left or right car parking scenario )…. …it start jerking ….like it will stop in any time….but when i give little acceleration it boost to normalize and i park the car normally..

      My battery is ok
      car has done 170k plus

Same i have noticed when i immediately press brake to slow down my car near any other car on running road..it jerks in same way but this i noticed less bcz it takes few second and i accelerate again…

What should be the problem sir 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 ford focus is filled with problem packages…

Is this spark plug issue? Fuel filter issue….or any thing else……pls note that i have recently done oil and its filter change…i also put injector in fuel tank with help of authorized technicians..as well.

Pls help me…really tired of 1 by 1 issues in car…

Can u suggest me some good car in Ford?..model? Now i will buy used….how about explorer…escape…fusion? Ur kind suggestion can help me a lot… :cheer:

          Dear Mr. Eric,

Thanks for your prompt valuable feedback… so helpful for me and everyone here.

I have opened throttle…. i tried to clean it with cloth for the time being and have cleared some stains in opening and sides where were visible to me.
I have seen your video and you have informed to not remove throttle in DWB car…. Mine looks same as it has side motor.

One thing i am unable to do is to open butterfly to remove stains from inside as well – as i can’t see inside if stains presents or not……. How can i do that…??
I know that if i will do by force and will press butterfly by hard touch finger it will disturb the computer. in car…. Can you guide me in it..?

As throttle mouth is opening upward….can i use spray that has mentioned “carbs and throttles cleaner”….what if i spray and it will go inside through throttle mouth? any effects on engine …starting….??

          Please guide me !! 🙂

With the key on and engine off have someone press the gas pedal and see if the
butterfly opens on the throttle body. If it does open spray the rag wet with cleaner
to clean the tb area. If the tb flap does not open put the car in drive with key on and
engine off then press the pedal.

              Dear Mr. Eric,

Can you please give me an idea … on my hose which connect both throttle body and the filter……..in center there is some connected pipe.
It has a green button on it to press and disconnect from hose………..i have seen it after disconnect it from hose by pressing green button…….
It has a nozzle shape body inside (size around half inch)…….what is that? also requires cleaning?

I am looking for sensor as well to clean with spray …is it same or it has different position…?

Just an FYI on cleaning the throttle body. If you find that there is a good amount of buildup around the throttle body blades blocking air passing by, the PCM adjust to this over time until it cannot compensate which gives you the shutting off at stops or push in clutch. You will be required to pull the battery cable to reset the throttle body to factory air gapping

                    Dear Mr. Eric,

                    Thanks for your wonderful help.

I have taken some pictures of my engine, throttle body, the cable and sensor type thing that is attached on housing between throttle and filter.
Also for the filter which looks dirty so i changed it already with new original from Ford.
Can you tell me that was sensor or what? which has green button…what is do…can i clean it? as when i see it has some oil existence on it.

Regarding throttle body..there were some existence of black contamination around blade that i have tried to cleared with cloth only…but just from the side visible to me…not from inside. (as in pics)
I have also tried to open throttle by turning ON (only) the car and then pressing of accelerator (without starting of engine) but blades from throttle do not opened…..i tried 3-4 times but no change…so unable to clean or spray any thing inside…. IS THERE ANY WAY TO CLEAN FROM INSIDE THROTTLE? IF I USE SPRAY AND IT GOES INSIDE WILL IT DISTURB THAT?

Please guide me in this case dear MR. Eric.

It looks like your PCV connector which should push back on the air tube right where you are.

                        Dear Mr. Eric,

Can you tell me for above with little more details?….Also let me know is this required to clean it as well? if yes then how ?
Also let me know…if by turning car to ON and by pressing accelerator, throttle do not open its blade for cleaning reason then what is the other ways to open it without any issue.

Well after changing air filter and little bit cleaning of throttle i got some noticeable improvements in my car.. Thank you as well for your kind guidance dear.
