I get 95% of the parts I need for my 3 vehicles on line from Amazon (found some amazing deals there for pennies on the dollar), Advance Auto Parts (usually use a 33% or 40% off coupon and buy spare parts so I get the free shipping saves gas driving to the store or if I need it fast I can pick up at the store), Autoparts 123.com always has 20% off on Black Friday with Free Shipping over $50 great deals there also. Just ordered some parts from Rock Auto a couple weeks ago, even with the shipping and 5% off it was the cheapest for what I needed. eBay sometimes has some good deals. I usually shop around quite a bit. I also keep my vehicles for over 10 years so I buy stuff that I will need down the road before I need it when I find a great price. Got a new Denso AC compressor for $108. at Amazon for my Neon, got flex brake hoses for all my vehicles for less than $4 each and drums and pads and calipers just waiting to be installed when needed.
Still have about 15 cases of oil (Castrol, Pennsoil, Quaker State, Valvoline, etc) that I picked up at a local store (that changed to an O’Reilles) for $0.99 to $1.49 a quart. Usually when I need something I just go to my basement to get it. I find that Advance Auto Parts is the best because you can order online, get the discount and pick it up in the store in an hour. You don’t get the discount unless you order on line. If you want a discount code for ordering on line email me and use AAP discount in the subject line. No, I do not work for AAP. I go to a place that supplies auto shops in my area. Its low key and they always have super low prices. I do go O’riely’s or Autozone too.

well i havent had to buy many auto parts but i got some brakes from napa that seem to be good and some exhaust gasket material although i wouldnt call that a part. i usually get motorcycle parts from a close by salvage yard. there is a dealer almost next to it. they dont ever have any parts for my bike. they order the part then dont call when the part is discontinued. they refund but that is annoying.

It all depends on what I need and what is opened and how quickly they can get it.
                I shop all over
                Autozone
                Carquest
                Rock auto
                Advance Auto
                Advantage Auto
                Walmart Oil
                Dealer
Dealer online such as gmpartsdirect ect.
                Tirerack
                E bay
                Amazon
                Bergen auto parts Junk yard
                Napa Auto parts
                continental auto parts
                Arnolds Auto parts
Thats most where I get all my supplies It mainly what part where it is made and what part it is what is for.
Like most things I get online wheel bearings and some items I get from town or the dealer. It all depends If something breaks where I can get it from the fastest. I do research to find out were to get the best part from.
Like my top motor mount for my Saturn sl on the passengers side. It is a solid mount due to it being a stick shift. Only ones around here have the upside down smiley face. Dealer wants over a hundred and I can get it from gmpartsdirect for 62.00 shipped. I was told by old Saturn techs to use only Oem for the mounts. So somethings I do get through the dealer. And being my own tech I do allot of research before going out and buying a product. Also I do research to make sure that I can do the repair, what tools are involved if I need to go buy the right tools to do the job and To make sure that I know exactly what part is bad. This is so I don’t just keep spending money on parts or guessing on what part is bad.
To sum it all up I do allot of research and shopping to get the best grade part and at the lowest cost I can.
                I hope this helps

Advanced Auto Parts. They have killer deals on promo codes like the one I posted $40 off $100. You won’t find those deals anywhere else. Because I live in Ohio, they ship parts from Marion and they come the next day. Don’t shop at Advanced without using promo codes. Save cash!
