Where can I find these plastic clips?

Hey Guys,

New here & to the automotive scene.

Trying to fix up my car but seem a little lost with locating these clips,

The only name for them I’ve come across is “parcel shelf clips”. I have found a couple sites that sell, but are only in the UK & asking a price of around $12 (though not much, I expected less for little plastic clips : )

This is apparently called a parcel shelf?

Has anyone seen these type of clips in any other vehicles or other items (not necessarily a vehicle) , or have heard “parcel shelf” refereed to as something else?

I’m located in Australia & my vehicle is a 1998 Hyundai Excel (1998 Hyundai Accent in the U.S I believe).

Any ideas would be great 🙂

Thanks for the reply & links 🙂

Postage from the U.S seem waaaay high : .. was quoted $90 from jimellishyundaiparts.com. Sent them an email to confirm the cost as it was only for 2x of the clips.. which should be able to be posted via ‘letter’ option.

I’m surprised at the costs for these so far : .. the design seems like it would be used for more applications.

The only reliable source of weird parts is the auto wrecker. Hopefully you have one not too expensive and close by.

But many brand new clips can be found at the auto parts store too. They would usually have a rack with screws and clips which always break, etc.

I might take a trip to the large hardware store see if they have anything like it as a substitute I might be able to use, otherwise it looks like the wreckers might be the way to go : .
