It would be nice if the database showed the location of the original poster. A surprising number of car problems are climate related. This would avoid suggesting snow tires to someone in Florida or 40W oil to someone in Nome, Alaska.

We don’t need to know the street address or the city, state would be adequate.

If you update your profile with your location a little home icon will show up under your avatar and you can hover the mouse over it to see where people are located.

Also, not everyone wants to list their location. If they don’t list their location, that information will not be available.

Well, I’m not very technical as you can tell. So, thanks. In another forum I frequent I’m used to seeing location spelled out. So, nevermind.
