An important addition to any shop in my opinion. What are your thoughts?

Thanks for bringing this topic up. It’s almost universally ignored, and you’ll be lucky to find a band-aid in most people’s garages.

I prefer to use a brightly-colored plastic tote for this kind of thing. Pop the top and everything is accessible. No need to go fishing through separate pockets looking for a particular item.

An eye wash cup, a couple of sealed pint bottles of plain water (replace them twice a year when the clocks go ahead or back) and a bottle of rubbing alcohol might be additions worth considering. I’d recommend that people should also take a First Aid course every five years or so, as a refresher.

Thanks for your input. I do keep fresh water in the shop but forgot to mention that. I’m adding hydrogen peroxide and the rubbing alcohol you mentioned and looking into an eyewash station.

As for the first aid course, I posted a link to the Red Cross app in the description of the video. It’s actually quite good.

          Thanks again.

The fact you have something is awesome! However… I am no professional or self proclaimed fak/bob builder, but I have done quite some research on fak and bobs (first aid kits and bug out bags) I have multiple kits only through the advice of multiple youtubers.. While you are on the right patch I think a little more organization could favor you in the long run. I suggest researching fak and bob builders on YouTube…. My thoughts..
