I just picked up the Snap-On ball joint press. Kinda spendy, but I’ve used the heck out of it…

I love mine. Ball joints, U-joints and I’ve even replaced some control arm bushings with it. Honda lower control arm bushings and I’ve done Subaru B9 Tribeca lower control arm bushings with it.

OTC Caliper Hangers. They’re cheap and extremely helpful when removing brake calipers.

bought my own set of hvac manifold gauges, vacuum pump, refrigerant recovery cylinder, refrigerant scale, ambient temp/humidity thermometer, in-line oil/dye canister, and a cheapo black light. Also a few odds/ends to mount everything on an old tool cart I had laying around the garage. Cost about a grand for everything including the 33lb canister of refrigerant I got. Now I can professionally recharge a/c from the house!

set of metric genius 0 offset long wrenches. I love the combos they did as well. they match up to Asian brands well so I don’t have a 10 and a 11 on one wrench it’s a 10 and 12 and 14 and 17 on another. testing them out this week with a J3.2 timing belt and water pump. Also going to see if they make removing a subaru turbo heat shield any easier.
