I too have taken up using my angle die grinder when working on brakes, except I use a small wire wheel. It just looks so much better when everything is cleaned up. (I know… who is going to see it?).
December 8, 2013 at 9:11 am #567586Earth Quake 1/2 Impact. It’s a HF tool but I am just a DIY guy so it doesn’t get daily wear and tear. I started out doing everything by hand and one day bought an electric 1/2 inch impact. I thought to myself “You have been a fool”. Sooo much nicer letting the tool do the work. Better results too and my skin stays on my hands more too. I have slowly collected more and more pneumatic tools. I just let my wife know how much I saved doing the work myself to justify the tool and with the cost of auto repairs it’s not hard to do.

Man that was my first cleaner I had, loved it worked great. Problem was this was before good internet shopping and our local CarQuest quit carrying the cleaner. So I went to the other style where I could use the GM cleaner in it.

December 12, 2013 at 3:45 am #568459Snap on Butane Soldering Iron #YAKS22A. Works nice in tight places or in a parking lot when you get plug in a regular soldering gun.
Also got a killer deal on a Snap On Master Ball Joint/Universal Joint Press #BJP1. Usually around 700 bucks got it for 550.

January 1, 2014 at 1:27 pm #566306I traded my 1/2 drive chrome 12pt craftsman metric sockets for Strap-On 6pt set.
