What to do with old transmission

I have a failed :silly: 98 accord BAXA transmission. I called a few places around town and no one wants it, what would you do?

I would take it apart and sell the aluminium case halfs,the valve body is also aluminium to a local metal recycle place,Most metal recycle places will buy the rest of the trans drums,shafts,gears etc.as scrap iron

i would fill it with weed. this should only be done in states where such practice is legal, or medical purposes by prescription. Now if you ‘smoke the transmission’ it won’t necessarily be a bad thing.

Anything metal you put out to the road around here gets picked up by the scrap guys pretty quick. The price must be up.

recycle center here will pay like 25.00 for a whole transmission will get slightly more if you break it down and even more still if you clean it
