      That means you bolt of the old one and you can bolt on the new one. No need for welding.

        it means it should bolt right in place of the factory exhaust but take that with a grain of salt. not all really just bolt right up like claimed.

          I am replacing a muffler and pipe on a pontiac grand am and the pipe I am ordering doesn’t have a flange to bolt anything to. I was going to order a muffler and just use a muffler clamp to mate the two pipes together.

            That will work IF the pipe goes over the old pipe, if not it could get tricky. As stated ‘bolt on’ is not always the case especially when it comes to exhaust systems. Good luck.
