Having your car break down this time of year in Wisconsin sucks. I do not have access to a lift nor is my garage heated.
But repairs still must go on.

I noticed that the gear shifter was super sloppy on my 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS/SC. Turns out the roll pin that connects the shift linkage to the transmission broke. I managed to remove about half of the roll pin. I cannot for the life of me get the rest of the roll pin out. I do have a few more tricks to try before putting it back together and having it towed to the dealership.
Any advice from you guys would be appricated.

I would first try some penetrating oil and a hammer and punch to try to knock the remainder of the pin out.
        If that doesn’t work….
If there is enough room you can drill the pin out.
