What could be broken?

When swapping cars with my sister in an emergency, she didn’t realize my parking break was on and tried driving the car. Eventually the tires broke free. When she brought it back the ABS light is now on and the traction control says it needs service. And there is no pressure on the parking break pedal.

      I have a 2009 chevy impala LS

I’ll be taking it into the shop for sure, just wanna brainstorm some possibilities on what she broke on my car…..

Driving with the parking brake applied will cause excessive heat build up.
        Likely damaged:
        Calipers
        Rotors
        Pads
        ABS sensors
        Bearings

Also might consider flushing the brake fluid and have the caliper hydraulic lines inspected.

        One other possible item:
Depending on how hot the wheels got… might check the rims for warping.

So basically ill need two rear hub assemblies and all around brake work…this will be lovely.

Thanks for the info though. Hope you had a good holiday.

I’m giving the possible end results.
A qualified mechanic after a good inspection will be able to give you a more specific picture on how extensive the damage is.

            Hopefully it will be limited.
