When cleaning contacts I use Isopropyl alcohol 90% or contact cleaner.

I never learned what to use on sensors. I know some have there own cleaner like map or maf and from what i have learned o2 can not be cleaned.

Is there a general use cleaner to clean tps/map/maf/ etc?

I have seen carb cleaner/ maf cleaner /break cleaner green all used, but I am sure some of this are very bad.

      Thanks

P.S. do you have a one time payment system for premium membership or even a donation system? You have help me alot and I would like to give a few bucks. I plan on buying a v manual but was just wondering about the non recurring payments.

For MAF sensors, a company called CRC makes a special “Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner”. I have used it several times without any issues, so I highly recommend it. As for the other sensors, I’m not sure what the best cleaning product would be.

I don’t recommend this practice of ‘cleaning’. In many cases you can actually cause issues where there were none before. Certain things can be cleaned like MAF sensors as you pointed out. Otherwise, leave them alone to avoid issues.

Other than carb cleaner the industry provides MAF cleaner & Throttle Body cleaner. I expect there are more. I would use the cleaner named for the part if you must clean it otherwise go with dealer or manufacturer recommended practices.

Sensor cleaning products are specific to the part being cleaned as the wrong product can damage the internal components of the part being cleaned. Since a MAF sensor usually has plastic components a throttle body cleaner for example, used on a MAF sensor may damage these plastic components.
