      Hi everyone !

Having issue with my 00 civic. Wandering if someone has some suggestions. It has low miles 75k. When at a light or sitting in drive with my foot on the brakes the isles drops real low sometimes to where it shakes but never stalls. Has new plugs wires fuel filter dist cap rotor all OEM replacements. The even weirder thing I noticed is if I want it to stop I turn up my fan speed to almost the highest setting on the climate control and the idle cleans up and goes back to 700 and it will only go low again if I turn the fan speed back down or off doesnt do it at all if my headlights are on you would figure it would be opposite the more load the worst the idle but mine the more the load the better the idle any help would be great thanks

Start with the free stuff first:

        Battery/Alternator checks
        Ignition timing
        Vacuum leaks
Coolant check (for air and levels)
        Throttle body cleaning

If those don’t work, you’ll have to move on to more invasive stuff.

          Thanks

Ill check the battery and alt tomorrow
          I know timing is good
Already bled coolant per etcg method when I replaced it
Also checked already for vacuum leaks with tb cleaner so that’s good
Tb is clean also did then when I did tune up

Hi I was wandering if anyone else has any suggestions

            Still same issue
Checked fitv and iac also fine could it be vacuum brake booster leaks ?

Also another weird thing the resonator pipe cracked the other day right behind the cat and the car ran better for some reason got it replaced and lacks power a little now ?

Could this be related issue either time though still had idle issue

            Thanks

You will have to check the following:

              1. All sensors dealing with a/f ratio and temperature
              2. Exhaust back pressure. Intake vacuum pressure
              3. Fuel pressure
              4. Ignition components for quality
              5. Timing belt for correct timing

If you suspect brake booster issues, use another line when checking intake vacuum pressure.
