So I just read this article on the Forbes website about 7 characteristics of a weak manager. It addresses managers in general, but it very much applies to the kinds of managers that we deal with. I just wanted to share it with the fellas here, as it can help those of us with weak managers understand them a little better. My boss, incidentally, possesses every trait mentioned in the article. I’m trying to think of a way to expose him to this article without offending him too much, as I’m certain he doesn’t want to hear about it.

This kind of stuff really matters in our line of work. You definitely need to have fundamental confidence to be a master ballbuster.
