Wash wax, detail, maintnence plans, warrantee’s,selling of related merchandise, franchising, cooperative relationship planning with other local stores that sell related merchandise. IE: Auto Parts, Kneckts…what have you. Far as doing anything not car related it would seem out of place and concidering the nature of a mechanic shop, selling anything that needs to be “clean” would go against all expectation and maybe might find a nitch market as a novalty auto repair center but over all would not bring in any cash.
Oh by CRP I mean you maintain that company’s brand named rigs, in exchange for advertising and a lower rate on parts, they get free repair. Since they maintain those rigs well usually and they are not used that much except for events..its a win win situation. You pay less for what you need, and get more customers, they get cars that run reliably and if they break down they know where to take them, you know those cars and so can fix them very fast for a high turn over rate boosting your rep with them and in town.
