I have a 2002 Cadillac Sedan Deville. After I have the AC running for a while I find water on the front floor on the passenger side. Where is this water coming from? How do I solve the problem?

There is an evaporator drain (usually a small rubber hose)close to the bottom of the firewall at the bottom of the A/C unit that’s most likely plugged with debris. The evaporator get’s cold and the humidity in the air condenses on it similar to an ice cold beer on a hot humid day.
If the water can’t drain away it leaks inside the car. There is a possibility that the hose has become disconnected or is broken.

Compressed air is the best way to clean it.

How do I get to this hose? I will try to find a view of it somewhere. Thanks

I found some information about evaporator hose assembly replacement. This gets into discharging the system. I don’t think I am in the right place.

One cool way (pun intended) to see what the aforementioned drain looks like is to borrow a friend’s car and crank up the A/C on a hot day and watch for drips of water to accumulate on the driveway. With the car jacked up, simply look to where the water is coming from.

I think what you looked at was a different hose. I’ll try to make it easier if I can..
(got this info from a Caddy forum)

Get the car up on a lift. Down at the lower edge of the firewall-to-body pan, just about in front of where the passenger’s left heel would rest, probably behind some sticky insulation, is a rubber drain elbow.

Just to be clear, the hose you are looking for will be OUTSIDE the passenger cabin of the car, underneath, towards the firewall area, very close to where the firewall meets with the floor pan, and the end of the hose in question will be open, it isn’t attached to anything, it just hangs there and drips water out when your AC is running, or when rain is pouring into the cowl area. In your case, yours is plugged up with crud, so the water isn’t draining out, instead it is pouring onto your floor.
