I live in Houston and in my car when I run the air for a couple of hours the passenger side is all wet. The A/C runs great, but I finally had to take the carpet out and I keep a shammy to soak up the water.

I would say that it fixed, I drove for 3 hours yesterday A/C on, no water.

In answer to the post of about the vacuum, I don’t see any problem with that if there is enough suction. Eric recommends low air pressure.

I used air first, then because I don’t have any carpet in this vehicle I decided to use the water hose and this did show me that the drain hose was draining.

Someone else told me that it could possibly be a case that was cracked but I don’t have what case they were speaking of.

        Hope this helps, good luck

Hey man, is it fixed already? If not, it may be a leaking heater core. Does the floorboard have a certain smell from being wet? my friend had the same situation. coolant leaks have a different odor than water.

Sorry it took so long to reply Bryan.
I am certain that it is not a leaking heater core base on the fact that at times there was enough water to make a large puddle which was clear water no coolant. Many years ago I had a vehicle with a bad heater core and besides the smell the car began to run hot but by using the vent turned to hot and on full blast I was able to travel to and from work for awhile without overheating until I could get it fixed. I am not sure if the running hot is a normal symptom of a heater core going bad… just remembered that car after your post thanks for checking on the situation

And as I said in a previous post I believe the problem is solved, I used silicone around the rubber gasket at the firewall where I found a small leak, tiny, after shooting water with much pressure up till now no water in the floor board
