Hey guys, I’m a big fan, and this website is really nice. I have not been here before.
Myself n some of my co workers are pretty good mechanics, not pros. I’m on a problem now that I just don’t know where to begin. I have many vehicles as I run a small service business. The vehicle I’m needing help here is a 2010 3/4 ton gmc savannah. 5.? motor.
What I believe happened is that the tire was cut intentionally, n water was poured into the fuel tank. The truck run good for about thirty minutes of stop n go driving. We filled it up with gas and soon after she give up. Happened in a span of two minutes. Engine started missing and shaking like vibrating. Then it died, cranked it back up and it died again and now will not fire off, just spins over. I’m real worried about rusting fuel injectors and pistons just not sure where to begin on how to bleed it down n pressurize the system with fresh fuel. I don’t even know how to prove it has water in it without dropping the fuel tank and empty it.
Any help?
