Hey Eric! I have been following you for just over a year and you have helped me through a few automotive things with your videos but I watch all them just because I love seeing what your working on and watching your explanation of things. I don’t know why I just love cars that much I guess! Before I put in a request I want to say thank you so much for your videos. I have asked you about this before on your Facebook site but I am going to consider this an official request.

I have a 2008 Honda Ridgeline and I would love to see the rear differential fluid, and transfer case fluid changed. Basically a drive line service, I’m not sure if there are grease fittings or not to be done. I would guess no because I cant find them in the service manual (im a bright one, i know haha.) I know the Honda Pilot all years, and the first gen Acura MDX had the same AWD system.

Id love to hear any notes in the potential video about how the system works much like you did with your Honda element showing how the dual pump system works. That was a kick ass vid.

I know your limited to what comes in to your shop so here is hoping a VTM-4 equipped vehicle comes into your shop!

      Thanks From Yellowknife, Canada,
      Justin

2 years ago or so I shot a video doing a full service on an MDX including the timing belt. It’s several hours worth of footage. Thing is lately I just can’t seem to find the time to edit that video and a few others like it. About the only way that’s going to happen is if I take some time off from the forum and work extra days editing. I’ll do my best to get that video done and I apologize I don’t have it for you now.

Hey no worries. Just wanted to put it out there.

Whats the reliability like on the rear differential on those? Ever see any fail?

If you use the correct fluid it should last the life of the vehicle just fine.
