Eating probably brings in a larger target audience than auto repair. Everybody eats but not everybody is interested in working on their own cars. I also noticed that the doodler is gaining ground on everyone probably bringing in the children voters….
Yes the results thus far are making me sad.
If people could just do there basic maintenance for there vehicles, they would save alot more money in the long run and to me, that’s far more worth while than learning how to bake cakes.

Seriously, its each to there own when it comes to tools and brands. Same with vehicle manufacturers.
I do prefer MATCO tools over Snap-On, and yes my tool collection does consist on MATCO, Snap-On, Craftsman man and a few other brands.

Why of all places would you take this thread into tool brand bashing? If you talk to most professionals, I’m betting they have a pretty good mix of everything in their box. Take that topic elsewhere bro.
I can’t believe that we are so far behind a cupcake maker. I guess she’s better at recruiting her (largely unemployed) housewives, who have nothing better to do than vote in popularity contests. Yet another example of the screwed up values held by our strange human culture. Although, once in a while, a good cupcake goes a long way, ha ha.
i think there winning because everyone can vote twice. you can vote under your username and then sign out and vote again as an unregistered user
I read as much as I could, and there was nothing I could find on “voting” rules. I think our problem is that we are to honest.
If I were a devious individual, I would certainly find ways to post submissions for Eric. But then again, what is a “win” if gained by dishonorable means? With that said, every morning I see that I can vote again (with my youtube account), so I vote once with my account, then log out and vote again. Then I pick up my phone and do the same thing, then when I get to work, rinse and repeat 🙂 Eric should be getting 6-8 votes out of me a day 😉
Whatever the outcome, I know we still have the best group of people, and an awesome friend and mentor in EricTheCarGuy!
There is definitely some fishy business going on with the voting, I watched 500 votes for mary in the last hour or so.
Also, it doesn’t let me vote once per day with my YouTube.com account, it let’s me change my vote, but not vote again.

More then double voting has occurred, marydoodles has jumped almost 2000 votes since I woke up this morning. I want Eric to win, but since cheating is rampant and allowed, I fear we are wasting our time.
Pro wrestler Jesse ” the body/governor ” ventura used to say ” win if you can , lose if you must but always cheat ” now I know eric would not want that but – This is war ! that said … I hit a few kinkos here in town and used their computers. was able to vote 6 more times . now if everyone could do that we would knock this out quick. rules – shmules … I just want eric to win and I will battle for him anytime. he deserves it !
