Hi Eric,
I was thinking if maybe you can make a video about taking your car to the dealer and speaking with the technician.
I’m wondering, are there certain things we should/shouldn’t say or do when talking with techs? I know, it seems like common sense, but since you were a tech, are there certain key words we should say to try to help them out a bit more.
Also, when should we or shouldn’t we take the car to the tech vs a local mechanic? For new(er) cars under warrantee that’s usually a given. But for older cars if it advisesable to still take the car to the dealer? Bare in mind cost savings as well.
This came about because I have a ’15 Kia Optima that was making a clunking sound of the front driver side.. I took it to the dealer and the tech could not replicate the sound, which of course is the case. He tighten everything on the suspension, which I’m glad about, but the clunking is still there.
I hope I explained myself well.
Thanks,
George
