I often find myself owning cars with little or poorly documented service history, like the ETCG Subaru.
A video highlighting the servicing that should be done when a car like this is bought using the Subaru would be cool.
For example, Eric’s Element 100k service, that car has been serviced and maintained so things like the brake fluid dont need to be completely flushed, but I’m pretty sure my car with 100k on it has never had the brake fluid changed, other than being topped up after brake pad change.
Same applies for power steering etc.

That seems like a good suggestion but since I’ve already done so much to the Subaru it would be hard to go back. In a way I try to address these things in the videos that I have already made. I’m having trouble wrapping my mind around how I would approach that subject outside of what I’ve already done. When I think about it it sounds a lot like finger pointing. I’d rather approach it as, “good maintenance practices yield longer vehicle life and dependability”. Approaching it after the fact seems like a waste of time in a way.
I do appreciate the suggestion.
