Hello all,
2003 dodge sx 2.0 5 speed manual
Having an issue at highway speed (70kph or higher) where there is a significant vibration/cavatation/knock that is heard in the right rear quarter panel area passenger side.
The noise only occurs while driving straight or turning right at speed. It does increase at speed approaching 80kph and seems to subside slightly at higher speed. Significant increase on right turn although it seems to subside when the turn is more significant (ie smooth corner noise is loud, 90ish degree corner noise is less severe)
It almost feels like a flat tire or loose wheel but all wheels are tight and inflated properly.
Was recently told that bushings were worn out in front end…could this cause a noise in the rear end?
Rear wheel bearings and hubs were replaced with no change.
No obvious damage to struts or any other support structure in the rear.
There is no knock or noise at speeds below 60 kphAny ideas?
