Vauxhall (Opel) Vectra C 2004 Loss of power

Hi guys. So as the topic says. My Vectra lost most of its power. It does accelerate to about 3k rpm and then totally dies. No more acceleration even if the gas pedal is to the floor (The rpms don’t go above 3k aswell)
The Air flow meter is brand new
I’ve cleaned the EGR valve and it worked fine for about an hour then The power loss came back.
I’m Thinking the EGR valve has gone kapput. Before I buy another one maybe there are some other things I should look into?
