i bought a vane gas analyzer with a tune up machine that i bought used and the gas analyzer is a bit intermittent it some times works then it stops ive opened the sensor up and blown on the sensing wire and the needle went all over the place so the sensing wire should be working i then loosely screwed the sensor together and blew in to it worked as it should tightened it up and stopped working as well ive since cleaned the metering block which has helped but im just wondering what peoples experiences with it has been (same style as pictured ) does have a new wire for power on it due to old one being twisted wires to add the spring clamps

I would say First that I would take the care that Scanner Danner takes when cleaning a MAF meter on U-Tube. I have no idea how hard you bleu. I do not know what exactly is not working now. But assembling some thing part way, not all the way would let dust and things in places where they should not be. See if there are repair manuals available,. Faxon Auto Literature has car manuals. They may have car tool repair manuals also.? I guess you will learn some more electronics, as you must know some stuff as you are working on the emissions part of cars. J. Thornton
