Valve cover removal for 97 Honda Accord V6 2.7l

I am having trouble removing the valve cover next to the fire wall. I remove wires and hoses that are located above the cover. But it seems like there is something not letting me fully lift off the cover.

When was it last replaced. If it has never been, the gasket some times fuse the cover on pretty good. Try using a small pry bar with blunt end to see if you could gently pry it up. Or use a rubber mallet to knock it loose.

should be 4 10mm nuts. You may need to remove the rubber
seals that were under the nuts or at least pry them up.
Either rock the valve cover or tap it with a rubber mallet.

Finally. I got it off. It was the valve cover gasket holding down the cover. And it does look like it has never been change because the gasket is hard as a rock. now I have a lot of scraping to do.
